QUICK BAKED BEANS 
3 to 4 strips bacon
1 clove garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 lb. ground beef
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1 can (1 lb.) baked beans
2 hot dogs, sliced

Cook the bacon until crisp; set aside. Saute garlic, onion and green pepper in bacon drippings until golden. Add beef. Brown well, drain. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Stir in beans and hot dogs; cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Crumble bacon over top and serve. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
