LIME JELLO-COTTAGE CHEESE SALAD 
2 pkgs. lime Jello
2 c. hot water
1 can crushed pineapple
1 c. mayonnaise dressing
1 pt. cottage cheese
1/2 c. nutmeats (cut fine)
1 c. condensed milk

Mix Jello, hot water and pineapple together and let partially set. Fold in condensed milk, mayonnaise, cottage cheese and nutmeats. Put in mold and let set in refrigerator. (Bottom of mold may be lined with sliced pineapple and maraschino cherries.) Cut and serve on lettuce leaf or endive. Serves sixteen.

I made this Friday for a party on Saturday night. It was very tasty! The thing I have to say that's most important here is that initially, people were reluctant to try it based on the fact that it's 1.) Jello and 2.) full of 'other stuff.' However, I managed to convince most of those folks to try it and they ALL really liked it! Very creamy consistency but with yummy lime--it remind me of Italian cream sodas.

Hi, my mom used to make this recipe but instead of pineapples she added chopped apples and bananas. It was quiet delicious.
