Loaf:

1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
1 beaten egg
2 tbsp. onion, chopped
1/2 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce (reserve 1/2 can for sauce)
1/4 c. bread crumbs
salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Shape mixture into a 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 loaf pan.

Sauce:

1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. mustard

Mix sauce. Pour over meat loaf. Baste every 15 minutes.

Bake approximately 1 hour or until done.
