6 slices bacon
2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. bread crumbs
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 tbsp. catsup
1/2 c. milk

Place bacon slices on bottom of pan. Combine loaf ingredients; put on top of bacon. Bake for 1 hour uncovered at 350 degrees.

SAUCE FOR MEATLOAF:

4 tbsp. vinegar
4 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 chopped onion

Combine, bring to a boil and simmer. Baste loaf while cooking until sauce is gone. Serves 6-8.
