HOT ASPARAGUS CANAPES 
20 thin slice white bread
3 oz. blue cheese
8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
20 spears cooked or canned asparagus
1/2 lb. butter, melted

Trim crusts from bread and flatten with rolling pin. Blend cheeses with egg and spread on each slice of bread. Place asparagus spear on each and roll up. Dip in melted butter and coat thoroughly. Freeze, then slice in 3 equal parts. Bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes. Makes about 60. They may be kept in freezer several weeks. Good make ahead appetizer for the working mother.
