CRANBERRY SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
1 stick of butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 can whole cranberry sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 c. walnuts

Cream butter and add sugar. Add unbeaten eggs one at a time with mixer at medium speed. Reduce mixer speed and add dry ingredients that have been sifted together. Mix alternately with sour cream, ending with dry ingredients. Add flavoring. Grease 8 inch tube pan. Put 1/3 of the batter in pan, then swirl 1/3 of the cranberry sauce; continue 1/3 batter and 1/3 cranberry sauce until it is all in the pan. Top with chopped walnuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. When cool, dribble over the top a mixture of confectioners sugar and water.
