CHOCOLATE CREAM FRUIT TORTE 
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 1/2 c. Cool Whip
1 c. powdered sugar
fruit (your choice: banana, strawberry, cherry, kiwi, raspberry, peach, blackberry, pineapple)

Frosting:

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/4 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. baking cocoa

Prepare and bake cake according to directions using 2 greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans. Cool cake on wire rack. When cool, split cake in half horizontally. In a small mixing bowl, beat Cool Whip and powdered sugar. Wash and prepare choice of fruit. Spread Cool Whip mixture on each layer and top with sliced fruit. In another bowl, mix cream cheese, butter, vanilla, sugar and cocoa. Frost the top of torte. Top with sliced fruit if you wish. Store in refrigerator until just before serving.
