TEXAS CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. water

Put flour and sugar into large bowl. Bring butter, Crisco, cocoa, and water to rapid boil. Remove from heat and pour over flour and sugar mixture. Stir well. Add remaining ingredients and mix all well. Bake in a greased 11 x 17 x 1 inch sheet cake pan for 15 minutes at 350 to 375 degrees.

FROSTING:

1/4 lb. butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/3 c. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter, cocoa and milk and bring to boil. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Beat well and frost hot cake.
