FRUIT CRISPS 
2 (1 lb.) cans fruit pie filling
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. sifted self-rising flour

Place in 8 inch square baking dish the pie filling. Sprinkle with topping prepared by cutting butter, flour and sugar until mixture coarse crumbs. For extra goodness stir spices, chopped nuts or coconut into flour mixture. Sprinkle topping evenly over the fruit. Bake 30-40 minutes at 375 degrees until bubbly and topping is golden brown. Can also use fresh fruit.
