2 c. flour
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients together until smooth.

Bake in greased Pyrex baking pan.

Bake about 30 to 35 minutes in 350°F oven. Frost with desired icing.
