2 c. cold mashed potatoes
2 tsp. grated onion
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. grated cheese
Dash of pepper

Add 2 tablespoons of butter or oil to a skillet and drop potato mixture by tablespoonful, browning on both sides.
