FROSTED FRUIT SALAD 
2 sm. pkgs. lemon Jello
2 c. boiling water
2 c. chilled ginger ale
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple, crushed, drained, save juice
2 lg. sliced bananas

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. pineapple juice (add water if short)
1 beaten egg
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. cream, whipped
1/4 c. cheddar cheese

Dissolve Jello in boiling water, then add ginger ale, marshmallows, pineapple and bananas. When Jello has set, top with topping.

TOPPING: Combine sugar, flour, egg and juice. Cook until thick. Add butter. When mixture is cold, fold into whipped cream. Spread on top of Jello and top with 1/4 cup cheddar cheese.
