FROSTED SWEET CHERRY SALAD 
1 (16 oz.) can dark sweet cherries, drained
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cherry gelatin
1 (7 oz.) bottle ginger ale
2 lg. ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
1 (2 oz.) pkg. whipped topping mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. toasted coconut
1 c. water

Drain cherries, reserving syrup, add water to make 1 cup. Heat to boiling. Dissolve gelatin in hot liquid, cool. Gently stir in ginger ale and 1 cup water. Chill until partially set. Blend fruits and fold into gelatin. Turn into a 9x9x2 inch dish or mold. Chill until firm.
