12 GRAIN BREAD | |
6 c. hot water 2 c. 9 grain cracked cereal 1/3 c. millet, raw or cooked 1 c. sunflower seeds 1/3 c. sesame seeds 2/3 c. honey 1/3 c. oil 1/3 c. applesauce 2 tbsp. salt 3 tbsp. yeast, instant 1 c. gluten flour Whole wheat flour Combine first 9 ingredients and let soak for a few minutes. Add gluten flour, yeast and enough whole wheat flour until dough pulls away from side of bowl. Knead for 10 minutes and bake at 350 degrees approximately 45 minutes. While wheat is really good in this recipe, the bread is light and fluffy. This recipe also makes wonderful rolls! |
