CROCKERY CHERRY COBBLER 
2 (21 oz.) cans cherry pie filling
18 1/4 oz. pkg. yellow cake mix
1/4 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Pour pie filling into a 5-quart slow cooker. Spread evenly.

In a large bowl, combine cake mix with butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over pie filling. Sprinkle with nuts. Turn slow cooker on low; cover and cook for 3 hours. Serve warm from the pot. Great with ice cream or whipped cream. Do not open cover on pot until done.

Quick, easy, and outstanding. My neighbor also does this recipe with 2 cans of peaces cut into chunks... dry cake mix over top - then puts pats of butter over the cake mix. This recipe is a sure winner and has many possibilities!
