BROILED FISH 
1 1/2 lb. fish fillets or steaks
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dried dill weed or other herb

Place top oven rack 4 to 5-inches from heat source.

Preheat oven on the "broil" setting. Arrange fish on a well-oiled baking dish. Combine butter and seasonings. Baste fish. Broil fish, basting occasionally and turning once, for 10 minutes per inch of thickness or until fish is flaky and no longer translucent in the center.

Yield: 4 servings.
