CREAM FILLING FOR CREAM PUFFS 
3 c. milk
4 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. cornstarch
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour and cornstarch into 1/2 cup milk until it becomes a thin smooth paste. Scald remaining milk. Beat eggs, sugar and salt together, add to the flour, cornstarch and milk paste. Pour slowly into scalded milk. Cook until thick, stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Add butter and vanilla.
