STASH'S KAPUSTA 
1 (5 lb.) head cabbage, shredded
1 sm. can sauerkraut
4-6 tbsp. oil
1/2 c. butter
1 apple, chopped
1 lg. onion, diced
1 tbsp. caraway seed
Salt & pepper to taste

Parcook cabbage in boiling water until almost tender. Drain and let cool. Hand squeeze and mix with hand squeezed cabbage.
