1 lg. pkg. Oreos or chocolate sandwich cookies
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 (3 1/2 oz.) boxes instant vanilla pudding
3 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lg. carton whipped topping

Crush the cookies and put half of crumbs in a 9 x 13 pan. Mix the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix the topping, powdered sugar, and fold together.

In a separate bowl; mix the pudding, milk, and vanilla. Fold the cream mixture and pudding mix together and pour over the cookies. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Can be served from refrigerator or from freezer.
