LEMON JELLO CAKE 
1 pkg. lemon cake mix
1 sm. pkg. lemon Jello
4 eggs
2/3 c. water
2/3 c. Wesson oil
Lemon flavoring

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 - 2 tsp. lemon flavoring
Grated lemon rind

Mix Jello with cake mix. Add eggs, oil, water and flavoring. Beat well. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour at 325 degrees. DO NOT OPEN OVEN DOOR WHILE BAKING.

SAUCE: mix sugar, butter, soda, lemon flavoring and lemon rind, if desired. Bring to a slow boil. While sauce is still hot pour over hot cake. Let cool completely before removing from the pan.
