FRENCH TOAST 
8 slices French bread (3/4-inch thick)
4 eggs
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. Grand Marnier or orange juice
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tbsp. melted butter

(You can use egg beaters and butter.)

Arrange bread in a single layer in dish. In medium bowl beat everything together and pour over bread; soak overnight in refrigerator.

Saute next day on buttered skillet about 4 minutes on each side and serve with confectioners sugar or maple syrup.
