1 c. flour, sifted
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. milk

Mix dry ingredients together. Add butter and milk. Spread in baking dish. Then take:

2 c. brown sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa

Mix and pour on top of batter. Then pour 1 3/4 cup of hot water on top and bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
