FUDGE PUDDING DESSERT 
1 c. sifted cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. melted shortening
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. light brown sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
3/4 c. hot water

Sift first 5 ingredients together. Add milk, vanilla, and shortening; stir until smooth. Add nuts and pour into an 8-inch pan with high sides. Mix brown sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa together and sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water over cocoa and bake in a preheated 350°F oven for about 40 minutes. Serve with whipped topping.
