HOT FUDGE PUDDING CAKE (One Pan) | |
1 c. flour 3/4 c. sugar 2 tbsp. cocoa 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped nuts, if desired 1 c. packed brown sugar 1/4 c. cocoa 1 3/4 c. hottest tap water Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, baking power and salt in ungreased 9x9x2 inch baking pan. Mix in milk, oil and vanilla with a fork until smooth. Stir in nuts and spread out in pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa. Pour hot water over batter. Bake 40 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes. Spoon into dessert dishes or cut into squares and invert onto dessert plates. Top with ice cream and spoon sauce over each serving. 9 servings. |
