SHIRLEY'S COOKIE RECIPE WITH EGG
YOLKS
 
1/2 - 1 c. brown sugar
1/2 - 1 c. white sugar
6 - 12 egg yolks
3/4 - 1 1/2 c. Crisco shortening (not oil)
1 - 2 tsp. vanilla
A little (3/4 tsp.) lemon extract (optional)
1 3/4 - 3 1/2 c. flour
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. salt
1 - 2 tsp. baking soda

Mix Crisco and sugar until creamy and light. Add yolks and flavorings. Sift flour, sat and soda. Add to mixture. bake 350 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes or until lightly brown. Recipe may be split as it makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies. Form into balls and flatten with a glass on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Let set for a few minutes before removing from sheet.

Used muffin tin for baking 12 cookies, put chocolate kiss on while cooling. Shall we call them "cupcookies"???
