CORN DODGERS 
1 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk
Oil
1 c. whole kernel corn, drained

Sift cornmeal, flour, baking powder, garlic salt and salt together in bowl. Add egg and milk to cornmeal mixture; stir until well mixed. Let stand for 5 minutes; add additional milk if needed. Drop by small spoonfuls into hot oil in skillet. Fry until golden brown; drain on paper towels.
