CONGEALED ASPARAGUS SALAD 
2 env. plain gelatin
1/2 c. cold water
1 c. boiling water
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
Juice 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chopped celery
Sm. can cut green asparagus
2 tbsp. grated onion
2 chopped pimentos
Dash green coloring

Mix gelatin in cold water. Dissolve in boiling water. Add sugar, vinegar and allow to thicken. Add remaining ingredients and turn into 1 large mold or 12 individual molds. Asparagus juice may be substituted for the cold water, thus giving a more pronounced asparagus flavor.
