SEVEN LAYER CASSEROLE | |
2 to 3 potatoes, sliced 1 onion, sliced 4 med. carrots (partially cooked) 1 c. frozen peas 1/2 c. uncooked rice 1 can tomato soup 1 c. water (may use water from carrots) 1 lb. Italian sausage (browned) Layer in 2 1/2 quart covered casserole dish in order given above. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, covered, and 1/2 hour uncovered. (Kielbassi may be substituted for sausage.) If prepared ahead, must be baked and then reheated. Do not reheat in microwave. |
