APPLE PRALINE PIE | |
Double crust for pie 6 c. sliced, peeled apples 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. flour 2 tbsp. butter 1/4 c. butter 2 tbsp. half & half 1 c. pecans 1/2 c. brown sugar Mix ingredients together (except butter). Pour into pie crust, dot with butter. Cover with top crust; cut 6-8 slits in crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes. With about 15 minutes left of baking time, melt 1/4 cup butter; stir in 1/2 cup brown sugar and 2 tablespoons half & half. Bring to boil; remove from heat. Stir in about 1 cup pecans. Pour over pie, allowing liquid to go into slits. Cook another 5 minutes, or until bubbly. |
