CHEESE GRITS CASSEROLE | |
1 1/2 c. grits 6 c. water 1 lb. sharp Cheddar, grated 3 beaten eggs 1 1/2 sticks butter 3 tsp. savory salt 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. Accent (to taste) 1 tsp. paprika Cook grits in water until mixture becomes thick. While hot, stir in cheese, butter, savory salt, salt, eggs, seasoning, and a few dashes of hot pepper sauce. Place in an 8 x 12 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. About 10 minutes before mixture is done, sprinkle paprika on top. |
