ALPINE GREEN BEANS 
1 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. sour cream
1/2 lb. grated Swiss cheese
4 c. French style green beans
2 c. crushed corn flakes
2 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. grated onion
2 tbsp. butter for corn flakes

Combine sugar, butter, flour, onion, and sour cream in pot; cook until thickened. Add to beans. Place in greased casserole and add grated cheese on top. Melt butter and add corn flakes. Put buttered corn flakes on top of casserole. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Serves 8.
