SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. dark Karo syrup
2 eggs
3/4 c. pecans, chopped
1 heaping tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell

Mix sugar and flour together. Beat eggs and then add Karo syrup to them. Combine ALL ingredients except use only half the pecans. Pour into pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining pecans and dot with butter.

Bake until top of pie has crust on it and shell is brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

Caution: Not recommended for weight watchers!
