VEGETABLE BEEF BARLEY SOUP 
1 1/2 lb. chuck steak
2 sm. onions, chopped
1 (46 oz.) can V-8
5 celery, chopped
6 carrots, chopped
3 lg. tomatoes, peeled, cut
3 beef bouillon cubes
3/4 c. barley
Basil
Sugar
Pepper
Garlic powder
Bay leaf

15 lb. chuck steak
20 sm. onions, chopped
10 (46 oz.) cans V-8
3 stalks celery, chopped
6 lbs. carrots, chopped
2 lg. cans tomatoes, peeled, cut (restaurant-size)
30 beef bouillon cubes
3 1/2 lb. barley
Basil
Sugar
Pepper
Garlic powder
Bay leaf

Combine all ingredients and simmer 8 to 10 hours on low crock pot or 4 hours on high crock pot.
