CHOCOLATE MINT SQUARES 
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. 4X confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. butter
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. butter
1 c. flour
1 (16 oz.) container Hershey's syrup
4 tbsp. creme de menthe
6 pats butter

Combine the sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, 1/2 cup butter, and chocolate syrup. Pour into a 9x13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let cool.

Combine the confectioners' sugar, creme de menthe and 1/2 cup butter and spread this mint layer over the cake. Melt the chocolate chips in the pats of butter; allow to cool and pour over the mint layer. Cut into squares and serve.
