FRUIT BALLS 
1 c. dried apricot
1 sm. can Solo brand apricot paste
1 c. prunes
1 c. dates
1 c. currants or raisins
1 c. nuts
1 c. miniature chocolate chips

Chop all fruit very finely. Grate nuts, not too finely. Place the fruit in a food processor or blender, a little at a time. If a food processor isn't available it is better to blend each fruit separately. Combine all fruit in a large bowl. Add just enough rum or whiskey to moisten. Shape into balls, about the size of a walnut. Let stand in refrigerator overnight. Fruit can be placed in a cookie tin and frozen.
