1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 egg yolks
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 egg white
1 c. chopped nuts
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits

Cream together butter, sugar and salt until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in flour and mix thoroughly. Shape into one inch balls. Dip into slightly beaten egg white and then roll in chopped nuts.

Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Make depression in the center of each cookie. Bake in a 375 degree oven about 15 minutes. Remove from oven and before cookies cool, press chocolate bits in the center.
