EASY PINK CARBONARA SAUCE | |
1 cup marinara sauce 1/4 cup light cream 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed 1 lb spaghetti or linguini (cooked, drained, kept warm) 6 slices cooked, crumbled bacon 2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese Cook spaghetti as directed, drain, keep warm. In a large sauce pan, heat marinara sauce over medium heat, swirl in the light cream, mix well until it becomes a pink colored sauce. Pour in the peas, stir slightly. Heat sauce until heated completely through. Ladle over dishes of pasta. Add crumbled bacon to each dish, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over pasta. Easy, but delicious.
