1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. light brown sugar
1 c. flour
1 egg yolk
1 c. chopped nuts
1 egg white
1 c. crushed nuts
Maraschino cherries

Combine first 5 ingredients. Roll out in palms of the hand in small rounds. Beat 1 egg white until foamy. Moisten rolled cookies in the egg white and then roll in 1 cup crushed nuts. Place a piece of cherry on each cookie. Bake 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven until brown.
