CHRISTMAS PLUM PUDDING 
2 lb. seeded raisins
2 lb. mixed candied fruit or more
1 qt. (3 lb.) chopped apples
1 pt. ground beef suet
1 qt. sweet milk
1 heaping qt. of bread crumbs
8 beaten eggs, separately
1 pt. sugar
Grated nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1 qt. flour

Put all the fruits together in a large bowl and flour. Put liquids together then mix all the ingredients together. I use Hi - C cans to put pudding mixture in (4 or 5). Steam 6 hours in a cold - pack canner. Cut bottom of can out, push pudding out and you have a roll of pudding, when warm.

SAUCE:

1/2 lb. butter
3/4 lb. (1 1/2 c.) brown sugar
Egg yolk
1/2 pt. (1 c.) grape juice
