RUTABAGA CASSEROLE 
2 lg. rutabagas
1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. cream
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Salt & pepper
2 eggs, beaten
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar

Cook the rutabagas in salted water about 15 minutes or until tender. Drain and mash. Soak bread crumbs in cream; add cinnamon, salt and beaten eggs. Combine with mashed rutabagas. A little bit of brown sugar added is good. More bread crumbs on top is nice (you can rub two pieces of toast over top). Put in buttered casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes until lightly browned.
