ORIENTAL CHOP STEAK 
1 lb. round steak, sliced 1/2" strips
1 med. yellow onion, cut in half, sliced
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1/2 c. soy sauce
1 tbsp. corn oil
Pepper to taste

Brown meat in 1 tablespoon oil, then add onions. Stir fry 2 to 3 minutes. Add soy sauce and equal amount of water. Let simmer until vegetables are crisp tender (5 to 10 minutes). Add additional soy sauce or water as determined by taste. If too strong add water, otherwise add soy sauce. Add dash or two pepper for zest. Serve over steamed rice. 4 to 6 servings.
