QUICK CHILI | |
2 tbsp. Wesson oil 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 lb. ground beef 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can red or kidney beans, undrained 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 med. green pepper, chopped 2 (8 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce 1/2 tsp. salt 1 to 2 tsp. chili powder Cook and stir meat and garlic in oil until meat loses red color. Add beans with their liquid, onion and green pepper. Pour in tomato sauce. Add salt and chili powder, stir. Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally until chili is desired thickness, about 45 minutes. |
