GRILLED PINEAPPLE BURGERS 
2 lb. lean ground beef
3 tbsp. Italian dressing
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (15 1/4 oz.) can sliced pineapple
8 slices bacon
3/4 c. BBQ sauce
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. honey
1 tbsp. lemon juice

In large mixing bowl, mix beef, salad dressing, salt, and pepper. Shape into 8 patties, each 3 inches in diameter. Press a pineapple slice into each. Wrap each patty with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Mix the remaining ingredients for the sauce. Place the patties in a 13 x 9 inch pan. Cover with sauce. Cover pan and refrigerate for 2 hours. Grill patties pineapple side down 4 inches from coals 12-15 minutes. Turn; brush with BBQ mix. Grill 10-15 minutes. Heat remaining sauce to serve with burger.

I LOVE this recipe! everything is great about it. I always like to put a little more lemon juice in with the mix, because it kind of gets lost in the mix of other flavors. and use sweet baby rays bbq sauce instead of open pit so you keep the sweetness going. Also if you have time let the burgers sit in the mixture in the fridge for 6 hours, and the flavor will be amazing! I cannot go back to the normal burger. Also if you are a a bacon person get the maple or apple-wood smoked thick cut bacon.
