HOMEMADE FRIED PICKLES | |
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 cup sugar 5 tbsp. chili seasoning 4 tbsp. garlic powder sliced pickles of your choice vegetable oil, for deep frying Put vegetable oil in a pot and go ahead and let that heat up. Meanwhile, mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl. Dredge pickles in mixture until fully coated. After oil is hot test drop one pickle and after a minute it should come out golden brown. Note: Be sure not to let oil get too hot because pickles will cook faster on the outside than the inside. If this is your first time frying pickles don't get bummed if the first batch doesn't turn out right. Practice makes perfect. Enjoy!! Submitted by: Amanda Rodman |
