ROSE'S CRESCENTS 
2/3 c. almonds
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. sugar
1 2/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Blend almonds until finely chopped. In large bowl, combine butter, butter, sugar and almonds. Beat with mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add dry ingredients, mix well. Make into a roll, wrap and chill about 2 hours.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Work with small amount of dough. Slice off dough, form into crescents. Bake 12 minutes - until - not brown - roll in topping and sugar and cinnamon.
