1 c. white sugar
1/3 c. butter
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. flour
About as much whipping cream as you want after baking

Mix together with pie crust blender. Put a small amount on coffee cake and bake. Pour some whipping cream around top and more of sugar mixture. May want to do a second time.

This is the topping Mom used on her coffee cakes that she would sell at the Women's Guild Bake Sales. I believe this is an old German recipe.
