MAGIC ICING 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. white syrup
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 c. water

Bring this to a boil in saucepan and boil hard for 2 minutes. While syrup is boiling, put 2 egg whites in mixing bowl and set at high speed and mix until whites are stiff. Pour syrup over egg whites and beat until stiff enough to spread on cake. If you like a firmer icing cook for 2 minutes more. Add vanilla and spread on any kind of cake.
