Not only did I print this out, I permanently taped it to the inside of the spice cabinet door. Thank you for the tasty recipe. I made a double batch, doubled the meat and gave everyone in the house a taste. Thumbs up all around... I am glad I was too lazy to go to the store. Now I have better tacos. Delicious!

Thank-you very much for this recipe. Recipe's I am trying to make like tonights are always asking for commercial items instead of telling you what there is in them. Again thank-you you saved my day.

I found this recipe today when I started to make tacos & realized I was out of store bought mix. Wow! I didn't have any powdered oregano so I got some fresh out of my herb garden. I'm going to go to my local healthy foods store and get all the ingredients to make a big batch to keep on hand. No more store bought crud for me!

Tried this when I forgot to buy store taco packet. It was good, but needed just a little kick. I added a 1/2 tsp. black pepper to the mix and of course, used the 3/4 c. water and it was perfect! But even without that addition, very very delicious!

I have been using this seasoning for pinto beans (for bean and cheese burritos) and chili for years. My family loves it!!

I was very impressed with this recipe. I followed the suggestions and added more salt. I almost think 1/2 tsp would have been enough for my taste. I will forever make my own seasoning now using this recipe! Thanks! OH, and I seasoned almost 2 pounds of beef with 1 serving of this.

It was a bit bland when we followed the recipe to the letter. So we added a bit more of pretty much everything to give it more kick. It was a good basic start though.

Used the recipe for breakfast burritos. Used 1 tsp. salt and a pinch of cayenne powder after dropping the sugar and oregano( didn't go well with the eggs the first time around). Great recipe that has me skipping the store bought mixes forever more.

Very tasty but way too hot for my taste! Cut the chili powder in half or a third (if you're like me!)

This recipe was easy enough. We didn't have a store bought packet so I tried this one. I thought it was very bland. We had to add more chili powder and cumin, and also added more salt and pepper. I had high hopes after reading the reviews, but I just wasn't that impressed. It was like it was missing a vital ingredient. It smelled wonderful but the taste didn't stand up. I'll try tweaking it a little next time.

My family loved this recipe. I substituted 1/4 tsp Stevia for the sugar and it came out great. Yum!

I used garlic salt instead of garlic powder (it was what I had on hand) and that covered the need for a lil extra salt. I also added a little cayenne pepper. My husband has request I mix up a large batch so we don't have to buy a packaged mix again. I call that success!
