Beef Macaroni Skillet Dinner

I tested recipes for a beef and macaroni skillet dinner that tasted like the one we had in the school cafeteria in the 60s (it was the only decent thing they served). This is the one that tastes the best. It's the tomato paste that makes sealed the deal. IF you have any leftovers, put it in a baking dish and smother it with cheeses. It's awesome with garlic bread too!

This was the very first dish we learned to make in Home Ec. Only difference we added 1/2 cup chopped green pepper - Easy and YUMMY

Oh! Yes! - this is it. The only change I made (due to what I had on hand), I added a can of tomato sauce instead of the tomato paste. Sprinkled with Kraft Parmesan Romano cheese and served with three cheese garlic bread. This is a keeper. It has now officially been added to my "comfort food" group. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Love it.
