BANANA SPLIT TORTE 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. soft butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. butter, softened
2 c. sifted powdered sugar
5 bananas, sliced
1 (15 1/2 oz.) crushed pineapple, well drained
1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip or 2 pt. sweetened whipped cream
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix first 4 ingredients. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Take out and crumble. Cool.

Combine eggs, butter and powdered sugar. Beat 10-15 minutes; until smooth. Spread over crust in pan. Place slices of bananas over the filling. Spread crushed pineapple over the bananas. Top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with nuts. Refrigerate 3-4 hours.
